Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Focus: Lighting, Visual Design, and exposure control
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: How your camera sees it.
Exposure Control: Locking focus and using the brightness slider.
Lens Selection: Choosing between Ultra-Wide, Wide, and Telephoto.
Digital vs. Optical: Why “zooming with your feet” is better than pinching the screen.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Light
Front Light: Using the sun at your back for vivid color.
Side Light: Creating 90-degree shadows to reveal texture and depth.
Back Light: Facing the light to create dramatic silhouettes.
Overcast Light: Using clouds or shade for soft, even light.

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Visual Design & Composition
Symmetry & Centering: Creating powerful, balanced images by breaking “standard” rules.
Leading Lines: Using paths, fences, or architecture to pull the eye through the frame.
Negative Space: Using “emptiness” (sky, plain walls) to isolate your subject.
Point of View (POV): Shooting from extreme high or low angles to transform the mundane.
2:00 PM – 3:15 PM: The Lighting & Design Exercise
Exercise 1 (Symmetry + Front Light): A centered subject in bright, direct light.
Exercise 2 (Texture + Side Light): A high-contrast shot showing deep shadows on a surface.
Exercise 3 (Silhouette + Back Light): A dark, sharp shape against a bright background.
Exercise 4 (Minimalism + Overcast): Simple design and negative space in soft, flat light.
3:15 PM – 4:00 PM: Mobile Editing & Critique
Polishing shots
