Don Martel Photography Workshops - Portraits 2015

 

This workshop will encompass formal, informal portraits of children, families, candid and journalistic portraits.  We will analyze a variety of available light and flash techniques. We will explore the psychology of successful portrait photography in a variety of situations.   This is open to all levels of experience in photography.

The Essentials of Approach using the Principals of Visual Design will be held on the grounds of Shampers Bluff, Kingston.

Friday Jan 23: Arrival 2 p.m. Participants will show introduction images –– each participant brings five images.

Freeman Patterson’s will present his inspiring show

Saturday Jan 24: Sunrise shoot, class lecture in or out of the classroom, lunch (which is provided)

Afternoon field or class lecture, shoot. critique with Don and Freeman

Sunday Jan 25:  Sunrise shoot, and final critique with Don and Freeman Patterson. Cost $389
